I am sure you will be interested to know what happened yesterday at West Masi-North Masi Streets corner. It was a geand show of strength.Powers that rule our country these days and the officials who work for them understand such language better. The friends of American College who want to save the College gave a very good performance. Former Principal PTC, Retired Professors Winfred, Dinakaran Michael, Badwin Jawaharsingh, Rajaram, myself, Present Principal Chinnaraj Joseph, Mrs Chinnaraj Joseph and many faculty and non-teaching staff of the college and a large number of old students and many friends of the College were present. A special 'pandal' gave protection from the hot sun but the 'pandal' was overflowing and people did not mind standing in the hot sun to listen to Prof. Solomon Pappiah and many others. The logistics - seating arrangements, refreshment and drinking water supply etc were excellent. I am sure the public were convinced about the reality. Something could come out of it soon.
I am also sure many news paper and TV channels carried the news and clippings of the same however The Hindu as usual choose not to publish any account of the same.I feel sorry for the same.
