An alumnus has sent me a mail - a correspondence among class mates of 84 ZOO series. I found one mail very interesting with a very pointed question. He is questioning the conscience of all the Christians, especially those of C.S.I.
QUESTION IS THERE ... LET THE PIOUS AND ABIDING CHRISTIANS ANSWER THAT QUESTION AND ALSO THEIR CONSCIENCE ....
it is very sad that the college we all love and had many happy memories has been degraded into a haven for useless donkeys to show their power.....but all of us tend to forget who the real culprits are....it is not the ones in power at the church of south india nor the staff at college nor the misguided students, but the blame lies elsewhere...
It lies in the church itself...it lies with the so called pious members of the church who did nothing to stop the rot that set in to the affairs of the church, many many years back, when the real work of God took a backseat, and everyone started to venerate not God, but the so called representatives who used God's name to get their way....in the process, sycophancy set in and the congregation of all churches must take the blame for spawning such arrogant idiots who are in power now....
Priests, bishops, moderators and the whole admin system is fraught with corruption, encouraged by the congregation members themselves, for their own needs, then pretending every sunday, that sitting in church will absolve all problems....
The christian community as a whole, has behaved with ostrich tendency towards these so called men of God, giving them all free things, keeping them at a pedestal, whether they deserved it or not, and in the process, sadly reducing the real work of missionaries to obscurity. I really don't know, whether there had been a boycott of services that had these so called idiots as the main preachers in any single time? Has any of the church members ever come forward to protest in support of the legitimate demands at any time?
What is the point in lamenting on the rise of these snakes, when the entire christian community itself is an accused in feeding them milk in the past?
Sad very sad.....
