[The announcement for the setting up of the High Level Committee by TN Chief Minister came on the first week of January 2011. A formal Government Order (G.O) on this was mooted, morethan a month after the announcement, on 18th February 2011. The election commission announced the election dates on 19-03-2011. What was the committee doing between 18th Feb and 19th March 2011? and then thereafter? Why it should wait till the inervention of the court? If the government officials are not respecting the GO, then who else will do? Is the government machinery functioning? all these matters were in the discussions of the court]
